So, now what?

I guess it took a few days to even figure out what to write.  For more than a week we have been contemplating the choices.  Do we quit now?  Do we still want to work on leased property and “practice farming”?  Do we look for a different way to do this?

I wish I could tell you we had answered those questions, but we have not.  We are still thinking, talking, testing theories.  Those who know me will find this especially hard to believe, but I am kind of talked out.  I tend to want to run away when the answers are not forthcoming – today is no different.  The family vacation will be a very welcome reprieve from the questions and problem solving that have been going on here lately.

My husband is still quite interested in trying to figure out how to do cattle.  I am more interested in a camper and a trip to Yellowstone!  So, we ponder a while longer, pray a little more, and a little more, and a whole lot more.  And, for now, I guess we hurry up and wait and work on the rest of our life while we are waiting.  Teenagers, end of school, family vacation, editing the latest round of photos taken, try to catch up and see if the house sells.

So, now – we wait, and while we wait – we live – and we practice what we can and read some more.

Ooops, just so you know we are not actually going to Yellowstone, we are going to the beach.  The Yellowstone trip is a distant hope
