This day started as chaotic as any other day where 23 people work together to accomplish one great task!
I wish I could say I was calm and it all worked like clockwork – HA! I was cranky because I was hungry, the refrigerator didn’t work, lunch was LATE, but ALL in ALL this crew worked some serious magic! The guys moved the stuff that we had collected at the “new house”, stopped to pick up a few necessities – like beds, toured the Tractor Supply (because Jim is like a kid at Christmas), and bought a new refrigerator. The ladies went to Walmart! Hahahahaha! Then we came back to the “farm house” and cleaned and cleaned and cleaned!
In all the crazy, we managed this one photo of ALL of “tam’s big fam”. We will try to have another prettier one done at Christmas time, but for now, this is enough to make this Momma smile! All my babies were in one place – for about 20 minutes! I’ll take it! Thank you Lord!
My sister and her husband, Mom’s nephew and his wife, and all of that crew in the photo worked unto exhaustion – but Saturday night the “little fam” slept in the farmhouse with the upper widows open, listening to the crickets. A perfectly cool night, fresh air, and tired muscles.
We have no idea what we will name the farm, no idea how to schedule around 20 different people’s schedules to make it work – but the adventure continues!
Thank You Lord for a safe move, a great moving crew, and a beautiful farm. Please bless our farm and help us to give it all back to you every day. Help us to remember who the land and the animals really belong to. Please help us to do with Your things what You would like for us to do – and give You the glory for all. Please be with those who have sold this place to us. Please bless their paths, take them to someplace that will bless them as much as we are blessed. Please draw each person whose feet touch the driveway closer to You and reveal Yourself to them in a very tangible and understandable way. Help us to do Your will and show Your love. In Jesus Name – amen
