It’s been a busy couple of weeks in the life of our little farm! We have become official and finally have a name! We will be working on a logo over the next few weeks.

It is winter – that is supposed to mean a little rest from farm work – nope! We’ve had such pretty days and such a list of things that need done that we have just kept going!
Those seeds that Asher and I planted the other day were joined by many, many more. I don’t know if any of them will survive to be planted in the big garden, but I hope so! We will have to re-plant them soon. I don’t know why they are so scraggly. I have been able to keep some of them alive so far – so that’s progress! It will likely be a big ugly garden – but we are learning a few things this winter – so maybe it will be a little better!

We mended fence on a couple of warmer days- was not expecting that at all! If I were made of money, I would pay to have the place completely fenced in goat wire! We try to at least have fun while we work! We had a great work crew this day!

We have been goat shopping – so the herd is getting ready to grow again! We will be adding one mommy mini-lamancha with two attached babies and two boer babies one boy and one girl. The entertainment value of this blog is now assured!
So happy for y’all’
