This week has been a travel week. Farmer man had to hold down the fort, I had a need to run the wheels off the van!
I often have a very difficult time keeping two warring parts of myself in some kind of balance. I do love the farm. But, I do have a strong desire to pack everything I own in a suitcase and small camper and run, run, run!
Well, I don’t actually own a camper – yet – but my kid does! So, We loaded up the family and headed to Indianapolis to glamp the camper with Jennifer.

Four generations, fourteen of us in all, worked together to brighten Jennifer and Jeremy’s new temporary home. We didn’t all sleep in the camper, but we all worked in the camper at the same time. It wasn’t nearly as bad as you might think!

My mother’s specialty has always been decorating, staging, elegance, and class. We made great changes and had great fun.

There is something relaxing about only having a tiny space to be responsible for. . . (there are those warring parts again)
After the hard work, we took a bit of time to relax and enjoy each other – and let the kids run a bit. We went to a family fun park and just had fun. Then it was time to wrap it up and head home. What a busy but joyful few days of travel!
