Our family has such a diverse range of interests and personalities that one might question if we could all find something in common. We do – each other! Wise people have told me that life would be boring if everyone was exactly like me! They were right!
So, with a myriad list of opinions, beliefs, interests, and hang-ups – we all just figure out how to keep hanging around each other.

We have completed one of the most important tasks for the upcoming season – thanks to quite a bit of teamwork! These gates! These gates close the loop that “holds” the left side of the farm. In other words, about 8 acres are now fenced in field fence. Should keep the cows inside, should help keep boy goats and girl goats separate. Well, you know goats – we still have a little work to do there. Somehow a few of the boys have figured a way through.

We have eaten together as a family (missing Lindsay and her crew) several times and enjoyed teaching a few bread baking skills! We all love to eat!

We have been responsible pet owners and taken the cats to be neutered and spayed. Except Barn Kitty – He freaked out at the concept of being indoors and was invisible in the garage. We will try him again next time.
The kids and grandkids have managed to keep 30 of 31 chicks alive for a whole week!!!
We have ordered seeds and are preparing the seed growing area and the garden. Looking forward to a better growing season than last year – I hope! Aaron is bringing new ideas and some much desired help to this momma with a black thumb!
All in all, the farm is full swing right now getting ready for spring!
