The view from the back porch

How much work has been done and changes have been made in just a few short weeks.  We have had so much help and it is amazing!

I wish I would have thought sooner to pick spots to shoot from every week so the difference would be noticeable to more than just me.  But, I did my best here to find one that would help with the before and after from the back porch.

This was the first weekend, when we had just gotten started.  So much is going on in so many places, it is crazy!  I have a wonderful and helpful family!

Now it looks like this!

We have trimmed trees, removed dead trees, had our favorite farmers come and brush-hog for us and it continues to improve!  I will take my “real camera” up in the next week or so and really get some photos to show the place off a bit.

It is becoming a home, with a long to-do list, but a home.  I expect in the next few weeks the fall colors will bring some beauty, and some leaves and branches ready to make into mulch.
