After a LONG day of barn work on Saturday we deserved a little rest and relaxation! We didn’t have the whole crew, but we did enjoy a bit of family fun on the farm this beautiful weekend!

It has been a while since baby Kyra has been to the farm – so we all went out to enjoy her enjoying the goats, ducks, and chickens – which she can now name as she chases after them to pet them. “Hi, duck! Hi, Chicken! Hi, goat!” It was great, great fun! Eva was Kyra’s personal tour guide to the barnyard!

However much money the parents think they have to spend on toys, I can save it for them – kids really just likes a bag of pine shavings and making it rain!!!
When we had all the barnyard fun we could manage, we let Poppaw make a few brownie points with the babies!

Then, we placed grandchild #7 in the swing handmade for them all to enjoy by Poppa Bill! I need to get this printed for him. Oh, and Nanna lost her hair bow during her wardrobe and diaper change – giving her that relaxed farm life look!

It was so much fun having Ms. Kyra up for the day! And I ALWAYS know when I have a whole group – All 7 grandkids at the farm! The older ones now go back and forth between the big farm and Jennifer and Jeremy’s place freely – and they avoid the camera when possible! Next time I’ll wrestle them all into a photo!
After Kyra and Eva helped feed the goats, Kyra and Val had to head home – farming makes a baby girl tired! Then the older grandkids continued their afternoon of playing with the cousins and the adults had a chance to unwind!
Got a little game of Canasta going and enjoyed chatting and cutting up too far into the evening!

What a BEAUTIFUL day! I always miss who isn’t there, and always enjoy the ones that are! It was a GOOD farm day!
